The sample-unit price is higher than bulk pricing because it does not benefit from production-batch efficiencies — each sample unit is essentially a small-batch build — but we keep this premium reasonable because we view it as an investment in the relationship. For importers who want to evaluate multiple models simultaneously, we offer a multi-model evaluation pack: 1 unit each of 3 to 5 different models at a discounted combined sample price. This is popular with first-time buyers who need to assess which SKUs their workshops will order most frequently. For custom or OEM prototype samples, pricing is cost-plus-engineering-fee, quoted on a project-specific basis after technical review.
Sample Lead Time and Logistics
Standard catalog samples ship within 5 to 10 working days of confirmed P.O. and payment. Multi-model evaluation packs take 7 to 12 working days. We can ship samples via your nominated freight forwarder, or we can arrange door-to-door express freight through DHL, FedEx, or UPS for single units, or air freight for sample shipments of 3-5 units. The logistics method you choose depends on urgency versus cost — air express delivers in 3-7 days globally but costs significantly more than consolidated sea freight for a small pallet.
What to Inspect and Test
A transmission is not a commodity product where visual inspection alone is sufficient. We recommend a structured evaluation approach. Start with a thorough visual inspection: examine the casting surface finish for porosity or defects, check machining quality on mounting faces and sealing surfaces, verify that all threaded holes are clean and properly tapped, and confirm that the ID plate information matches your order.
